On 7 March a member of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party Hramada Aleh Shabetnik received a telephone call from an unknown person. The man invited him to Homel Savetski borough police department. A.Shabetnik proposed to send him a summons, but the anonymous policeman promised to come to his apartment instead.
It’s worth mentioning that in December 2006 border guards confiscated from Mr. Shabetnik 5 copies of a book About Cult of Lukashenka’s Personality. On 28 February 2007 he received a ruling of Homel Tsentralny borough court to find him guilty of illegal trafficking of books and fine 1,5 million rubles (about 700 US dollars).
