Activists Demand Release of Youth Activist Dzianis Dzianisau
Pro-democratic activists demand immediate release of participant of the tent camp, on Kastrichnitskaya Square in March 2006, Dzianis Dzianisau. They consider his detention exclusively political. Viachaslau Siuchyk reported to BelaPAN, the demand was included into the appeal signed by former deputy of the Babruisk City Soviet Ales Chyhir, civic activist Ales Mazur and Siuchyk himself.

Viachaslau Siuchyk does not exclude that the events, which took place in Vitebsk in summer 2006 when activist Krystsina Shatsikava hang out the white-red-white flag and “Rebel ! ” inscriptions appeared in the town, have been taken into account.
As far as Siuchyk is aware, the parcels for Dzianisau have been denied on the pretext that he was kept in Homel temporally and was to be escorted to
“We consider Dzianisau’s “case” politically motivated and demand his immediate release”, the appeal says.
Democratic activists call all political parties, civic organizations and all people of good will to demand immediate release of Dzianis Dzianisau.
