The Charter’97 press center has been warned about that by a young leader, one of the founders of the Young Front Pavel Seviarynets. As said by Seviarynets, today night Aleh Korban and Zmitser Fedaruk were interrogated by KGB investigators as suspects in the criminal action brought up on charges under Article 193 Part 1 – ‘activity on behalf on an unregistered organization’. State lawyers were present during the interrogation.

On 4 February in Minsk 27 members of the youth organization the Young Front were detained during a session of the central committee of the organization in a private apartment. After 7 hours of examination all of the detainees except for Zmitser Fedaruk were released. The same day Aleh Korban, an activist of the Young Front, was arrested in his apartment.

It’s worth mentioning that the leader of the Young Front Zmitser Dashkevich has been sentenced to 1,5 years of jail under article 193.1 of the Criminal Code.
