Vitebsk activist Ales Halavan was detained by police on January 14. The police detained him near the polling station where he worked as election observer. The next day (on January 15) the activist was tried by Pershamaiski court of Vitebsk. Ales halavan had to spend a night in the pre-trial detention center. He was charged under Article 156 of the Code of Administrative Infringements – “disorderly conduct”. The judge of Pershamaiski court of Vitebsk fined the activist 15 USD.
