Kobryn: Proxy of Independent Candidate Removed from Polling Station #25
According to BelaPAN
At 10 a.m. Mikalai Khviadchuk, a proxy to an independent candidate to Kobryd district deputy soviet Raman Danilovich, was expelled from polling station #25 of Kobryn. Members of the election commission motivated this by the fact that in the evening of 13 January Mr. Khviadchuk didn’t apply for re-registration as a proxy and therefore his certificate was no more valid.
‘Such actions violate article #13 of the Election Code. That’s why I appealed them to this election commission and to Kobryn district election commission as well. By the way, at first the election commission didn’t want to register Mr. Khviadchuk there referring to inexperience of the chair of the election commission. I also informed Brest regional election commission about the found violations. As a result of my insistence at 11.30 the monitoring was continued by another of my proxies,’ said the candidate.
