A well-known human rights activist Valery Schukin has been detained in Vitsebsk. As said by the lawyer Pavel Levinau, Schukin was detained by policemen at polling station #52 in Pershamaiski borough of Vitsebsk.
The reasons for detention of the human rights activist are unknown to Levinau. However, he claims that Schukin worked at the polling station as a journalist. He had a document of a Narodnaia volia correspondent. At the moment Schukin stays in the police department of Pershamaiski borough of Vitsebsk.
