Democratic Activist Siarhei Siamionau Asks KGB to Explain Search Measures Taken towards Him

In Homel a democratic activist Siarhei Siamionau submitted to KGB a statement in which he asked to explain the search measures that were taken towards him in 2006.

We should remind that in summer 2006 the local KGB passed documents related to his activity and organization of activity on behalf of the unregistered organization Hart to Homel regional prosecutor’s office for a check-up. Later the prosecutor Viktoryia Siarheienka issued an official warning to Siarhei Siamionau about inadmissibility of such actions. Later workers of criminal search forcedly took Mr. Siamionau to the prosecutor’s office.

Now Siarhei Siamionau demands from the KGB to familiarize him with the information that was obtained during the check-up in conformity with the article About operative search measures. He also asks to tell him the reason why search measures were applied to him.
