Valer Matskevich, deputy chairperson of Babruisk Young Front, was found guilty under Article 172.3 of the Code of Administrative Infringements. He was fined 4 units (about 60 USD) for “distribution of printed materials without publisher’s data which damage the state and public order”.

During the session of Pershamaiski administrative commission Valer Matskevich was allowed to look through materials of the case. One of them was a police report, which Matskevich had not signed during the detention. Two policemen were the witnesses. Matskevich met one of them only at the police station. However back then, when asked to show his documents, the policeman said he had nothing to do with the case. One of the members of the administrative commission pointed out: “you understand that this is politics”.

Valer Matskevich was detained in Babruisk on November 24. Police detained him at the railway station and claimed he was suspected of robbery, reports press service of the Assembly of NGOs.
