Aliaksandr Kazulin Refuses from Services of Prison Medics

A former candidate for presidency in Belarus Aliaksandr Kazulin who is serving the sentence in a colony Vitsba-3, does not use assistance of doctors of the colony in the period of transition from the hunger strike that lasted for 53 days. ‘He does not want to cooperate with the doctors and acts according his own system’, told the Interior Minister of Belarus Uladzimir Navumau in Minsk.
Navumau cynically added: ‘We haven’t weighed anybody when admitting into the colony and nobody expects weight growing of prisoners from us’.
Aliaksandr Kazulin was on a hunger strike for 53 days. He demanded the UN Security Council to consider the problem of human rights violations in Belarus. Over the period in prison and of the hunger strike Kazulin lost 41 kilograms.
