The leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Liabedzka and the leader of the Belarusian People’s Front Vintsuk Viachorka were going to Vilnius (Lithuania). When they showed their passports to the border guards, the guards said on their walkie-talkies: ‘Beetle P and beetle D’. Later the politicians found out that when the surnames of the persons who are ‘especially interesting’ to the state, a picture of beetle appears on the monitor. The border guards checked the documents of the politicians for more than an hour and only then let them cross the border.
