Pavel Seviaryents Receives 3-days’ Rest to Visit His Parents

Pavel Seviarynets was to have come to Vitsebsk, to his parents, on 29 November. However, some days ago the prison administration received to give him a letter of absence and stated it was prohibited for him to leave the corrective labor facility till 10 December.

Nevertheless, on 3 December his parents were informed that he had three-days’ leave absence, for 4-6 December.

We should remind that in May 2005 Minsk Tsentralny borough court accused Pavel Seviarynets in organizing mass riot in the center of Minsk on 18-19 October 2004. The politician was sentenced to three years of personal restraint. Later an amnesty reduced the prison term to two years. Since August 2005 Pavel Seviarynets is spending his term of corrective labor working at a sawmill.
