Hrodna: Anzhalika Borys Summonsed for Another Interrogation

On 6 December the leader of the Union of Poles in Belarus Anzhalika Borys and the UPB activist Andzhei Lisouski are to come for an interrogation to Hrodna regional branch of KGB (State Security Committee). The activist of the Union of Poles in Belarus Andzhei Lisouski is a suspect in a criminal case brought up for drugs trafficking. Lisouski was driving a car where drugs were found.
Anzhalika Borys and a few UPB activists were detained at the Belarusian-Lithuanian border on 29 October. They were detained as a packet with an unknown powder had been allegedly found in their car. Hrodna regional customs office brought up a criminal action for drugs trafficking. According to the State Customs Committee, the ‘unknown powder’ was heroin.
