Police Seals Car of Union of Poles Member

Viktar Razhok, investigator of Hrodna regional KGB, interrogated Andrzej Lisouski again. Andrzej Lisouski remains a suspect in the criminal case of drug smuggling.

His car was searched. The police seized some things (in particular, seat covers) and 2 mirrors, in one of which, according to the investigators, drug substance had been found.

RFE/RL reports, Andrzej Lisouski is surprised that his car has been sealed only now. He pointed out to the investigator, when the car had been detained on the border, it had a new accumulator; however, during that day’s search, it had a different one.

On October 29 the border guards of Pryvalka check-point at the Belarus-Poland border detained Audi car. Besides Andrzej Lisouski, there were Anzhalika Borys, leader of the Union of Poles (unrecognized by the authorities), and her colleague Tereza Selivonchyk.

The border-guards claimed to have found amphetamine in one of the mirrors during examination of the car.
