Katsiaryna Sadouskaia Transferred to Homel Women’s Colony

The human rights activist Katsiaryna Sadouskaia, sentenced to two years of a minimum-security correctional labour facility for a demand to officially examine Alaksandr Lukashenka’s mental health, which the court considered as an insult. Now she is transferred to Homel women’s colony. It was written in the letter received by her family on 9 November.
Katsiaryna Sadouskaia wrote that the administration of Minsk remand prison demanded from her to write a request to transfer her to the colony.
According to the law, she is to be kept in a remand prison until an official answer to cassation appeal received from a higher authority. 60-year-old Katsiaryna Sadouskaia was operated two month before the arrest as she suffers from cancer, and she still feels unwell. She hoped that she would be sent for examination to a prison hospital.
