Belarusian Authorities Ban Visit of Bundestag Deputies and Working Group of European Parliament

According to the information of Vintsuk Viachorka, the leader of the Belarusian People’s Front, Minsk authorities didn’t issue entry visas to three European deputies of the European Parliament and two deputies of the Bundestag who were invited to Minsk forum that was appointed on 9-11 November. This forum is held by German Embassy and German NGOs for the 9th time. It is aimed at fostering ‘the dialogue of the representatives of the Belarusian government, Belarusian parties and society’.
Today’s Forum is dedicated to the topic ‘Belarus: Neighbourhood and Transit in Europe: foreign policy, economy and society’. German and Belarusian officials, scientists, deputies of Bundestag, European officials and deputies of the European parliament from different countries, members of the trilateral working group of the EP Delegation for relations with Belarus have been invited.
