The Chamber of Representative has adopted in the second reading the law On Counteraction to Extremism. The acting chair of KGB Vasil Dzemiantsei stated that this law is aimed at prophylaxis of violations of extremist nature and added that similar laws exist in almost all countries of the world.
According to the law the parties and public associations that show traits of extremism in their activity will receive written warnings and will face the perspective of liquidation by courts.
