Anatol Kulik Continues Political Hunger-strike
According to RFE/RL
In Navapolatsk the member of the Conservative-Christian Party Anatol Kulik continues his hunger-strike of solidarity with the political prisoner Aliaksandr Kazulin. He started the hunger-strike on 4 October and intends to hunger till 20 October.
’I feel alright. My head is ok and the heart seems to be so to. I work outside the city. I go there in the morning and return in the evening, that’s why I don’t see the authorities. In the case we have potent political parties and associations we must make stronger actions: pickets, meetings and strikes. What can one man do? Hunger? Yes, he can, but together we must make larger actions in order to let the authorities feel that to perceive it as a political force, not heroism of singletons,’ said Mr Kulik.
Let us remind that it is not the first hunger-strike of protest held by this activist. Prior to this he hungered for two weeks to protest against Aliaksandr Lukashenka’s inauguration.
