In spite of the numerous impediments made by the police, around 10,000 people took part in a concert in Friendship of Nations Park.
According to Radio Liberty, on 15 September several opposition activists were summonsed to the prosecutor’s office or police. Others were visited by policemen in their apartments and told not to go to Minsk on 16 September.
In Salihorsk the police detained the father of a Young Front activist Ivan Shyla. In Minsk several people were detained for wearing T-shirts with a Jeans Fest logo.
A number of participants of the action were detained after the concert was over, including Iana Rusakevich, Mikhas Sharamet, Mikhas Subach etc.
