Vaclav Havel condemns Kazulins conviction

- We consider the verdict and the trial in general absolutely manipulated. Its aim was to publically punish one of the two presidential candidates who freely spoke against Lukashenka, as well as to intimidate the rest of the opposition. The verdict is an evidence of the Belarusian regimes unwillingness to stop oppressing democratic forces, - says the statement signed by famous Czech politicians, including Vaclav Havel and Jan Ruml.
