On July 14, 50 taxies owned by a private firm Nabat came to the building of the ONT TV channel in Kamunistychnaia St. and blocked all the entrances. On that day the drivers were infromed that the firm had been closed up. As a result of this, 700 drivers who had lost their jobs urged to let them speak in a live program.
The manager of the firm has been in prison for a couple of months already. He is charged with tax evasion.
