Communist Reunion Congress turns farce

On July 16 several members of the Belarusian Party of Communists released a resolution on the reunion congress that was held on the same day. The resolution calls the congress a cover designed to create a state-controlled party with future closures of opposition parties.
The congress is called absolutely illegitimate, since only a BPC congress can make decisions on such issues, while the party has nothing to do with the reunion congress organized and controlled by the Belarusian authorities.
The resolution will be sent to the leaders of foreign Communist parties that cooperate with the BPC.
