The court officials put off the eviction day of the library. It may happen in a week.
According to the chair of the Union of Belarusian Writers Ales Pashkevich, the library contains nearly 1,000 books by Bykau. We have documents certifying that we received the books from a Moscow publishing house for safekeeping. So they have no right to take them away.
Pashkevich said that the books will be passed to the Presidents library.
