Mikalay Autukhovich Presented New Charges

On June 19 hearings in the criminal case of Vaukavysk entrepreneur Mikalay Autukhovich continues in the court of Kastrychnitski district of Hrodna. He is presented altered charges. Now Autukhovich is also charged with business activities without registration or licence. So far he had been charged with large-scale tax evasion only.

Mikalay Autukhovich was engaged in taxi service. After the presidential decree of 2003 he, as an entrepreneur, could hire only three drivers. Other drivers previously employed by him went to the Nika-Tras firm. He started to hire them there. However state accuser find that it was an illegal scheme, believing that Autukhovich was to establish a taxi firm, and by not doing so he evaded from taxes, Radio Svaboda informs.
