Hunger striker hospitalized in Minsk

Malady Front activist Nastassia Azarka was hospitalized to the Minsk region clinic on the 12th day of the hunger strike, as Malady Front leader Zmitser Dashkevich told the press-center of Charter97. Zmitser himself has been keeping to the hunger strike for 16 days already. Doctors are concerned with his health condition, but the young oppositionist doesnt plan to cease the hunger strike.

The hunger strike has been held in Minsk since May 29. The young oppositionists protest against criminal persecution of the activists of the organization Malady Front and demand freedom for political prisoners.
