10 % of local regulations contravene Constitution or Law

The figure was reported by the Minister of Justice Viktar Halavanau in his address to the members of the House of Representatives.
On May 22 the president issued a new decree providing for compulsory legal examination of local regulations. The examination will be carried out by regional departments of justice. After that the regulations that would meet the standards will be included into the National Registry of Regulations.
Halavanau said that the new procedure will contribute to the protection of the citizens and legal entities rights, as well as to creating of a universal legal system in Belarus.
