Doctors have not checked the state of Mikalay Autukhovichs health in three days of his hunger strike without water. Vaukavysk entrepreneur, who is tried in Hrodna now, is under arrest in Hrodna pre-trial detention center. Autukhovich went on a dry hunger strike on Tuesday, May 23. By that time he had already been fasting for 40 days, demanding release, the Radio Racyja informs.

Before the todays court session the entrepreneur managed to tell lawyers that on Wednesday a prison doctor looked into his ward, but he hadnt asked any questions and went away.

Meanwhile, as Autukhovichs colleague Uladzimir Asipenka said, the state of health of the political prisoner is noticeably deteriorating with each day. He faces a term of up to six years of imprisonment. The entrepreneur does not admit fault. He says that the real reason for his persecution is his struggle with corrupted officials, and the verdict is predestined. Announcing a hunger strike, Autukhovich said that in case a tragedy follow, it would be a politically motivated assassination committed by the authorities.
