Masty: Viktoryia Salei Disemployed from Kindergarten

Viktoryia Salei worked in a kindergarten in the town of Masty as a defectologist. She wrote an application to the kindergarten administration, asking to give her a leave of absence for 18-15 March at her own expense, because she wanted to go to Minsk for that time. The administration didn’t give the leave of absence, but Viktoryia Salei departed to Minsk despite it. On returning to Masty she found she had been fired for ‘truancy’.

Apart from this, Viktoryia Salei faced problems with her passport. She gave the passport to the local passport and visa service for putting there a seal that permits traveling abroad. However, the agency didn’t put the seal and informed her that the passport was taken away by Vaukavysk KGB.
