On 3 April at the Main Post Office in Minsk there was conducted an ironic flash-mob: about 100 persons suddenly gathered in almost empty hall of the post office, lined in queue and started filling receipts. In their interview to RFE/RL they said they felt they had to pay their debt to the city drainage.

We should remind that after the forced dispersal of the tent camp in Kastrychnitskaia Square in Minsk in TV programs the authorities accused participants of the action of inflicting a considerable material harm to the city by defecating into a drainage hatch. When youngsters found about it, they decided to pay 100, 500 or 1 000 rubles each to the drainage enterprise to compensate the ‘harm’. During the flash-mob there arrived riot police in plain clothes and the administration of Minsk police. However, they couldn’t do anything because there were no reasons for detention of the people.
