RFE/RL reports, Mikalai Ulasevich, Milinkevich’s campaign activist from Astravets, was supposed to be released today, on March 23. Detained while distributing Milinkevich’s leaflets, he had been sentenced to 5 days of jail on a charge of putting up resistance to police.
In jail Mikalai went on a hunger strike. Yesterday evening he felt sick and was taken to hospital with a heart problem. Today at 6 a.m. he was taken from therapeutic department to intensive care unit.
