BROAD CIVIC MOVEMENT “FOR FREEDOM!” TO APPEAR ON MARCH 25

Alexander Milinkevich, leader of the United Democratic Forces says a Broad Civic movement “For Freedom” will be created on March 25 on Kastrychnitskaya Square.
-- During the 5 months of campaigning we have been approached by many people who said they wanted to join and to help us. The number of people who want to cooperate with us is dozen times more than the number of members of political parties and NGOs. The authorities have impudently stolen our victory. That’s why we need to fight for it. We are standing at the beginning of diligent systematic work which will inevitably bring the democratic changes to Belarus, -- said Alexander Milinkevich.
On Saturday, March 25, he will name the main points of the Movement’s platform. Among them there are such points as an opportunity for the repressed students to continue education outside Belarus, creation of a comprehensive steady system of distribution of truthful information, and measures which will allow to hold free and fair election in the country.
The United Democratic Forces urge all people who are concerned about the fate of their country to come to Kastrychnitskaya Square at 12 noon on March 25.
