Today, on 18 March 2006, the larger part of owners of mobile phones in Belarus received the SMS message with advises not to come to the center of Minsk on 19 March because of allegedly prepared provocations. The public initiative Charter’97 managed to find out from the competent workers of the law machinery that the telephone number, from which the messages were sent, +375 29 6920027 was owned by the pro-governmental organization Belarusian National Youth Union (BRSM).
