On 17 March in Kolas 26, Minsk, dormitory of the Belarusian National Technical University the university administration searched and sealed the room of the youth activist Iauhen Ivianiuk.
The internal guards of BNTU ‘escorted’ him for about 6 hours. He spent almost the whole of 17 March at a provost’s office, where he had to talk with deputy deans and a KGB worker. The latter tried to incline Mr Ivianiuk to ‘cooperation’ in exchange for good marks at exams. During the search the university administration allegedly found a pile of flyer-format paper. That’s why they stated he could prepare to print flyers. Then they tried to copy all information from his computer.
