Minsk: Detention Center Doesn’t Accept Food Parcels for Political Prisoners

On 15 March the guards of the detention center that is situated in Akrestsin St. in Minsk refused to accept food parcels and warm clothes for the activists who were sentenced to different terms of administrative arrest. It’s worth mentioning that all persons who were sentenced to arrest for administrative violations spend their terms in this place and many public and political activists have spent many days there during the past years. We consider the refusal to accept food parcels and clothes for the imprisoned people as an eloquent manifestation of cynicism. It means that the regime continues the mockery of its opponents even in the conditions of arrest.
