Hrodna: Police Detain Public activist Mikalai Lemianouski

On 15 March in Hrodna the police detained the public activist Mikalai Lemianouski. During the detention Mr Lemianouski managed to dial in the mobile of a RFE/RL correspondent, so that the journalist could hear the process of the detention. The corresponded could hear that the policeman insisted on Mr Lemianouski’s getting into their car and refused to introduce themselves. They also said they would take him to Hrodna Kastrychnitski Borough Board of Internal Affairs.
