On 15 March the chair of Navapolatsk City Court Piatro Liauchonak sentenced the youth activist Aliaksei Trubkin to 7 days of jail.
Aliaksei Trubkin was detained on 14 March at Navapolatsk gymnasium to which he came replace the old agitation materials that were torn off. There he was informed that the agitation materials were removed by the man, who introduced himself as the worker of Navapolatsk City Executive Committee Parsenkou and explained that school couldn’t be a place for agitation. It is quite interesting that it is Navapolatsk CEC that officially defined the gymnasium as a place for putting the agitation materials. The school janitor called to the police, who detained Mr Trubkin and took him to a police station.
