On 14 March in Hrodna the police detained the activists of Hrodna headquarters of Aliaksandr Milinkevich Siarhei Malchyk and Viktar Sazonau and took them to Hrodna Leninski Borough Board of Internal Affairs. There they were accused of petty hooliganism for alleged swearing. On 15 March Hrodna Leninski Borough Court sentenced Mr Sazonau to 7 days of jail. Sazonau’s friends and relatives weren’t admitted to the trial - it was closed. As a result, Viktar Sazonau declared a hunger-strike of protest.
