’This step of the Belarusian party’, -- states the press-release of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, -- ‘violates the right of citizens of the Ukraine to enter the territory of the Republic of Belarus that is guaranteed by the appropriate agreement dated 1992’.

The ministry also demanded from the Belarusian authorities to conduct an independent investigation of the incident and give exhausting explanations to the Ukraine.

We should remind that on 2 March the chair of the Ukrainian civil party Pora, advisor of the Ukrainian president Viktor Yushchenko Vladyslav Kaskiv, its vice-chair Serhiy Yevtushenko and the press-secretary Marianna Postar were deported from the airport Minsk-2, to which they arrived from Kyiv. The deportation was directed by the KGB colonel Aliaksandr Zharski.
