According to our information, on 27, 30 and 31 January 2006 the youth activist Maryia Dziamenchonak, pupil of school #9 of Polatsk, was called for “talks” with the social pedagogue of the school E. Starannik, the governor O. Paryshkura and director T. Vasiutsina. They demanded from the girl to tell them about her participation in the electoral campaign and the activity of her relatives, who were also activists of the democratic movement. They threatened she would have problems entering a higher educational establishment after she finished the school. On 30 January the talk that lasted for more than 3 hours was attended by a man who introduced himself as a KGB worker.
