Pavel Seviarynets Is Warned by Vetryn Special Commandant’s Office
On 4 February the chair of Vetryn Special Commandant’s Office summonsed Pavel Seviarynets and warned him.
On 3 February Stefan Ericsson, extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of Sweden in Belarus, was to have visited Pavel Seviarynets at the open colony. Despite all the international agreements concerning the immunity of consular transport, the police organized a real haunting of the diplomat. The police blocked the way from Polatsk to the village of Malaie Sitna and detained the ambassador. After this Pavel Seviarynets was summonsed to the special commandant’s office and told that all journalists and foreign citizens who wanted to visit him were to receive the permission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
-- Due to the upcoming election the regime wants to deprive me of the possibility to exchange information with likeminded persons and journalists, but I am 100% sure that on 19 March the situation in our country will radically change, -- said Pavel Seviarynets to the press-service of the Young Front.
