This is the information provided by Radio Liberty. The young people were detained on 14 January in Minsk downtown.
After interrogation in Central Borough Department they were transferred to the detention center in Akrestsina Street. Their case will be heard in court on 16 January.
A group of young Russians came to Minsk to take part in a rock concert staged in a Minsk club. To while away the time before the concert, the Muscovites and their Belarusian friends went to watch a movie. Right in the theatre they were detained by the police. Four Russians are musicians of the CWWTP group, the others are their friends, with one of them - a youth movement activist.
Meanwhile, the Russian democratic movement "We” announced an action of solidarity with those politically persecuted in Belarus. On 16 January the protesters will light up candles outside the Belarusian Embassy in Moscow, holding in hand portraits of the politicians who disappeared in Belarus.
