Zubr Activist Aliaksandr Kazakou Summonsed for Interrogation

The police brought a criminal case against Aliaksandr Kazakou and Dmitry Zubr for alleged resistance to the police during the detention on 27 December. Late in the evening on 27 December the police detained them for political graffiti. At first the police drew a report for small disorderly conduct, but later changed the charges and accused the guys of resistance to the police. The procurator’s office brought a criminal case on the fact and the detainees were made to go undertakings not to leave the city. On 10 December the investigator of the procurator’s office interrogated Aliaksandr Kazakou, who didn’t take the blame and referred to the medical certificate the confirmed that during the detention the police broke his nose and bruised his leg.
