According to RFE/RL

On 5 December the unemployed Uladzimir Asipienka, the secretary of Niko-trans enterprise Liudmila Parembskaia, the businessman Anatol Dzieshka and the drivers Ivan Ianushkievich, Mikhail Siemiarych and Dzmitry Liankievich who drive the cars of businessman Autukhovich stopped the hunger-strike.

Uladzimir Asipienka told RFE/RL he had mailed to the chair of Vaukavysk District Executive Committee and the independent weekly Mestnaya Gazeta information why the hunger-strike was stopped.

-- We have collected 377 signatures of Vaukavysk citizens under the appeal to the president for changing the restraint to Autukhovich. On 5 December this document was submitted to the Presidential Administration, -- said Mr. Asipienka.

In the statement it is said that the action was ignored by the local authorities and doctors: For 20 days nobody examined the state of our health, leave alone the execution of our demands. Autukhovich has been hungering in jail for more than 50 days already and the whole country knows about it, but our officials are totally indifferent.

Participants of the hunger-strike think they will need their health to help Mikhail Autukhovich, who went on hunger-strike 52 days ago.
