On 7 December Belarusian Association applied to the Constitutional Court with the request to discriminate whether the new amendments to the Criminal Code comply with the Constitution and the international legal undertakings of Belarus. The organization also urged the Soviet of the Republic to reject the draft law “On introduction of changes and annexes to some legal acts of the Republic of Belarus concerning the increase of punishment for actions against individual and public security”.
