Zhodzina Court Justifies Siarhei Murashka's Expulsion
In Zhodzina the Young Front activist Siarhei Murashka sued the polytechnic management for their expulsion decision. Zhodzina Town Court took the side of the polytechnic administration.
According to the decision taken by Judge Ala Paplieuka, the polytechnic management expelled Siarhei Murashka without violating the law. However, the Young Front activist himself has a different opinion: "I had expected the Zhodzina court to say no. Because I was expelled as I had taken part in a rally within the Chernobyl Way action. The documents had been falsified. This was obvious, and the judge saw that. However, I think she was ordered to pass this decision. The polytechnic management sneered throughout the proceedings. And the judge did not even look up", said the opposition activist to Radio Liberty.
The Young Front activist was expelled from the polytechnic in May this year after taking part in the 26 April opposition action in Minsk. He was detained there by the police who reported the fact to the management of the polytechnic.
