Press-service of BPF Party

On 14 April the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus left in force the warning issued to Belarusian People’s Front by the Ministry of Justice. Let us remind that the Ministry of Justice accused BPF in placing of more than 80 organizational structures in private flats, which (according to the ministry) is a violation of Article #8 of the Housing Code. As a result of the trial the court didn’t satisfy the BPF complaint against the warning and only made admonition to the ministry for violation of the acting legislation during registration of the structures of BPF Party.

So, about 80 organizational structures of BPF all over the country will be liquidated. The lawyers only managed to defend the registration of a number of structures in Homel and Brest regions. It’s worth mentioning that yesterday the Ministry of Justice replaced it representative Kaliachka to Zinkevich, because of “heart problems”.

Uladizimir Labkovich commented:
-- This decision is doubtlessly the continuation of the political process on liquidation of the organizational structures of parties. The same decisions were issued at the trials of our colleagues – the Party of Communists of Belarus and the United Civil Party. We still think that the demand to place organizational structures of political parties in non-tenantable building is groundless.

According to Mr. Labkovich, analogous trial of the public association BPF Adradzhennie has started today and, most probably, its result will be the same.
