This is the information provided by the BPF Party.
The Slonim Branch of the BPF Party staged an unauthorized rally devoted to the Independence Day. The action was peaceful and closely watched by police. No detentions occurred during the action.
However, on 29 March the local Department of Internal Affairs summonsed Ivan Bedka, Chair of the Slonim Branch, who filed a rally application. A report registering his distribution of flyers was made by terms of Article 172 part 3 of the Code of Administrative Offences. The most surprising thing is that Bedka did not distribute flyers. This may well be an attempt undertaken by the police to settle scores with Bedka who, despite two reports, got only a warning from the judge last year.
