On 19 January activists of Zubr youth movement held a picket of solidarity with the political prisoners Mikhail Marynich, Valery Levanewski and Aliaksandr Vasilyew.
At 4 p.m. about twenty members of Zubr stood in line in Valadarski Street, opposite Minsk Investigative Isolator where Mikhail Marynich was kept. They held Marynich’s portraits. The action participants said they would hold such support pickets every month.
The picket lasted for half an hour. The police came to the place of the action several minutes after its end. They found about the reason of the picket from journalists. All they could do was to write down the personal data of the “RenTV” crew.
