59 members of United Civil Party passed their documents for registration of candidatures to circuit election commissions. 26 of them were registered and 32 were not. The question of registration of the head of Minsk city UCP organization Yawhen Labanovich by circuit election commission No. 102 is delayed for five days.

The UCP head Anatol Liabedzka has already received deputy certificate at circuit election commission No. 102. He has two rivals. One of them is a member of Belarusian Liberal Democratic Party and another is the head of the social defense board of Minsk City Executive Committee, Aliaksandrava, who is probably the official candidate.

In Minsk there were registered 8 UCP candidates:
Election circuit 96 – UCP vice-head Aliaksandr Dabravolski
110 -- UCP vice-head Liudmila Hraznova
98 – honorable member of UCP Stanislaw Bahdankevich
97 – Valiantsina Palevikova
105 – Yawhen Ahurtsow

Not-registered: UCP vice-head Siarhey Alfer, member of UCP political council, former defense minister Pavel Kazlowski, head of the “Ekon” foundation Ivan Antashkevich.

The funniest losses the party experienced in Homel and Hrodna regions. In Hrodna region 4 out of five persons were denied registration – only the head of Minsk regional UCP organization Maryna Bahdanovich was registered (election circuit 56). Non-registered: UCP vice-head Yaraslaw Ramanchuk and people’s artist of Belarus Zinaida Bandarenka. In Homel only 1 person out of 12 was registered. The usual reasons for denials were incorrectly filled income declarations. Besides, in a number of cases the justice boards of appropriate executive committees denied to annul registration to organizational divisions of the party which is a gross violation of part 1 of article 62 of the Election Code of the Republic of Belarus.
