On 26 August Leninski court of Hrodna will hear the criminal case of Valery Levanewski and his colleague Alexander Vasilyew. Levanewski was kept in pre-trial detention center since May 18, 2004. Vasilyew had given a written undertaking not to leave the place. They are charged with insult of honor and dignity of the President. According to the investigators, the insult is contained in a rhyme in leaflets spread before the entrepreneurs’ protest action on May 1.
