According to RFE/RL, during their visit to Babruysk on 29 June the deputies of the “Respublika” group Valery Fralow and Siarhey Skrabets had to meet with the city’s electors and public activists in Victory Square, because the authorities didn’t give any room for the meeting.
According to the leader of Babruysk organization of United Civil Party Uladzimir Kurtukow, the authorities of the “Babruysk” where the meeting hall was reserved annulled the reservation just before the meeting. About thirty citizens were present at the meeting. Fralow and Skrabets urged Babruysk activists to come to Minsk for the action of 21 July. They also met with private entrepreneurs at the Babruysk market.
